Fanni Schack, grown up in Hungary, is a dancer, teacher and a dance pedagogue. She studied at the University for Music and performing Arts in Frankfurt and received a BA Degree in Dance with emphasis on Contemporary Dance. During her studies she was able to experience dance techniques from a different perspective than what she was familiar with in her country.

As a freelance dancer she continued to work and train in Frankfurt. She performed with Dance Company Nanine Linning in “Requiem“ (2011-2012) and collaborated with Collectiv:space in pieces influenced by the multifaceted exchange with Tanja Brechmann, Sven Gettkant, Michael Gross and Richard Oberscheven. Fanni`s movement interest is based on sensing the body first before creating a form or an image. Inspired by Gaga and improvisation techniques she explores sudden dynamic changes in quality and space and how speed and clarity can exist together. While experimenting with different somatic practices she was introduced to GYROKINESIS®, in which she is a certified teacher. She followed her fascination for forensic toxicology and studied chemistry at the University in Hamburg (2019-2020).

The work as a pedagogue at private dance schools in Frankfurt (2014-2019) and Hamburg (2019-2021) made her realize the significance of how to transmit information. She embraces this responsibility and committed to accompany her students in their process of evolvement in the studio and on stage.

Fanni is enrolled at MA CoDE in 2021.
